When you make a purchase on my-onesie.co.uk, as part of the buying and selling process, we collect the personal information you provide — such as your name, address, email address, and phone number.
When you browse our website, we also automatically receive your computer’s Internet Protocol (IP) address, which helps us learn more about your browser and operating system.
If you opt into our email marketing, and with your permission, we may send you emails about my-onesie.co.uk, including updates on new products, special offers, or reminders about incomplete orders.

When you provide us with personal information to complete a transaction — such as verifying your payment method, placing an order, arranging a delivery, or returning a purchase — we take this as your implied consent for us to collect and use your information for that specific reason only.
If we need your information for any other purpose, such as marketing, we will ask you directly for your explicit consent or offer you the opportunity to say no.
How can you withdraw your consent?
If you change your mind after opting in, you may withdraw your consent for us to contact you or process your data at any time by emailing us at myonesie.co.uk@gmail.com.

We may disclose your personal information only if required to do so by law, or if you violate our Terms and Conditions.
ARTICLE 4 – WORDPRESS / WOOCOMMERCE
my-onesie.co.uk is hosted by o2switch and uses WordPress with the WooCommerce plugin, which provides the e-commerce platform enabling us to sell our products to you.
Your data is stored within WooCommerce’s data storage system and databases, on a secure server protected by a firewall and managed by WordPress.
If you complete your purchase using a direct payment gateway, your credit card data is securely processed by Stripe, encrypted in accordance with the Payment Card Industry Data Security Standard (PCI-DSS). Your purchase transaction data is only stored as long as necessary to complete your order. Once finalised, the transaction details are deleted. We do not have direct access to your full payment information.
All direct payment gateways adhere to PCI-DSS, which is managed by the PCI Security Standards Council — a joint effort by major credit card brands like Visa, Mastercard, American Express, Discover, and JCB. These standards help ensure your payment data is handled securely.
For more details, please refer to Stripe’s Terms of Service here.
ARTICLE 5 – THIRD-PARTY SERVICES
In general, the third-party providers we use will collect, use and disclose your information only as necessary to perform the services they provide — such as payment processing.
However, some third-party providers (such as payment gateways or processors) have their own privacy policies regarding the information we are required to provide them for your purchase.
We recommend that you read their privacy policies carefully so you understand how your personal data will be handled.
Please be aware that some providers may be located in or operate from jurisdictions different from yours or ours. For example, if you are located in the UK and your transaction is processed by a provider based in the US, your data may become subject to US legislation such as the Patriot Act.
Once you leave my-onesie.co.uk or are redirected to a third-party website or app (e.g. for payment), our Privacy Policy and Terms no longer apply.
If you follow links from our site to other websites, we are not responsible for their privacy practices and recommend that you review their privacy policies as well.
ARTICLE 6 – SECURITY
To protect your personal information, we take reasonable precautions and follow industry best practices to ensure your data is not lost, misused, accessed, disclosed, altered or destroyed.
If you provide your credit card information, it is encrypted using SSL (Secure Socket Layer technology) and stored with AES-256 encryption. This means your full card number is never accessible to any individual. While no method of transmission over the internet or electronic storage is 100% secure, we comply with all PCI-DSS requirements and follow additional industry-accepted standards.
